I am a humanist counsellor my pronouns are she/they. I work within the core concepts of person centred counselling. I create a safe and non-judgemental space to begin building the relationship. Through using the core conditions of empathy, unconditional positive regard, and congruence I believe that you are the expert of your own thoughts and feelings but through talking them through with me, you can begin to see your truth through another set of eyes.

My education is,

  • I qualified from SGS college in Bristol with my Level 4 Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling.

  • I then qualified from the University of Strathclyde with the Post Graduate Certificate in Counselling Children and Young People.

I have worked with a wide range of people and what they bring to the sessions. I welcome everyone from every background. I have no expectations for what we talk about in sessions.

I have worked with clients from Macmillan, helping them to come to terms with their recent diagnosis, helping them to process their news and how life will be now. I have worked with people from the GSRD community, people who are neuro diverse, I have experience working with survivors of sexual abuse and have volunteered with Rape Crisis.

I am a member of Pink Therapy and I am working towards getting my Pink Therapy accreditation.
